Lake of the Ozarks
Worlds Largest Pontoon Boat Party
Since the event first began back in 2008, it has proved to be a huge draw to fun lovers from all over the country. Captain Ron's Bar & Grill is the ideal venue for events of this type and has made this one of it's signature events. Pontoon boat owners from all over come to participate and even if you don't have a pontoon boat, you'll find that there are plenty of marinas and boat dealers that can rent you one, but make sure you reserve it early! If you don't have a boat, you won't find it difficult to get an invitation onto this floating party since part of what makes this so much fun is the sense of inclusion and community that the event brings out. Just head to Captain Ron's and you are almost sure to end up on a floating party boat.
Since the Lake of the Ozarks is already such a popular destination for pontoon boats, this event was almost guaranteed to succeed even before the folks from Guinness agreed to come out and verify it. Boaters from all over the world fill the lake during the summer and autumn months and since Captain Ron's also booked floating entertainment, on shore concerts, concessions, food stands, and discount packages to make the event more appealing, the party has grown by leaps and bounds.

One key thing to remember as you are enjoying yourself on the lake is that safety is a primary consideration for everyone concerned. Drinking alcohol and operating a boat is just as illegal as drinking and driving a car and both offenses can result in losing your drivers license, fines, and jail time. Make sure that you have a designated driver if you are going to indulge in adult beverages and be sure to keep an eye on safety since part of the fun is the fact that families, young people, and seniors all participate in the many barbecues, competitions, and concerts that the world's largest pontoon boat party provides.
The fourth annual event runs happens on June 12th 2011 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, though the party usually starts in the morning and goes on late in the evening. To participate head to Captain Ron's Bar & Grill located at 5-50 Lake Road in Sunrise Beach, Missouri.
