Lake of the Ozarks Water Parks
Water parks have been around for a long time but these days, modern technology have made them more fun than ever before. Artificial wave pools, dizzyingly high slides, custom designed space age materials that let you go faster, safer, and more gang busters than any other water adventure allows you to. Of course for the little guys just splashing around the custom designed pools, islands, and fully supervised child areas is more than enough fun.
Those seeking gander adventures will find them. Free fall from four stories at eye twitching speeds and feel the gravity force pull the wrinkles from your face or saddle up a custom inner tube for a thrill ride down chutes and rapids. Bungee jump into the water and allow yourself to get in, then out, then in, then out while the bungee relaxes after your plunge.

Water Parks at the Lake of the Ozarks -- Continue
You'll scream at least once, but after that you will most likely fall into a burst of laughter as the adrenaline course through your veins. The water parks offer great admission fees for adults and children with group discounts and special promotional packages available through resorts and activity agencies. Water parks are one of the most affordable attractions around when you consider what you get for the price of a single admission ticket.
Tickets and admissions vary from place to place but for right around $20 you can take part in everything that the best water parks have to offer. If the weather isn't great for being outdoors, don't worry, there are plenty of indoor water attractions too with heated water, state of the art climate control, and something new around nearly every corner...of the pool.
There are literally miles of water slides around the Lake of the Ozarks. It's not all about the action though. Whether you are seeking pool basketball, water polo, lounging by the pool, bikini watching, or just floating on an inflatable tube with a cool drink in your hand, you will find it. In addition, for those of age, there are one or two adult only pools where you can swim to the bar and have a cocktail. Most water parks and facilities offer full amenities including lockers, showers, snack bars, and full service restaurants.
Hours vary but for most parks you are safe to assume they are open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm during the peak visitor season and from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm during the low season.
