Lake of the Ozarks Memorial Day 2011
Winter can be long in Missouri and while the winter season holds many attractions of it's own, there isn't much like summer around the beautiful shores of the Lake of the Ozarks. To kick things off, boat owners and renters are invited to decorate their boats and participate in the wonderful Parade of the Lights on Saturday night, starting at the Ozark Yacht Club in Jennings Branch Cove right around 7:30 pm. Later, multiple fireworks displays light up the lake at Tan Tar and other great spots in Camden and around the lake.
Toad Cove has live music which in the past has included Bali Root, Darla McFadden, and other super hot local music acts. The heat goes way up with the Miss Planet Beach Model Search at Shady Gators and if you just want to splash and have fun, there isn't anyplace to do it quite like the Big Surf Waterpark.
