Bull Shoals Lake
Bull Shoals Lake is in the Ozark Mountains and is a huge artificial lake created when the Bull Shoals Dam was completed in 1951. At the time of its construction, the dam was the fifth largest dam in the world. Bull Shoals is lowest in a chain of 4 lakes that impound the White River before it reaches the mighty Mississippi and it was built to control flooding in the region.
